The AU Sixth Region Canada Foundation is a network in Canada for people of African descent who live outside the African continent, which is known as the Sixth Region.
Our mission is to unite, mobilize, organize, and empower people of African descent in America and foster reconnection with Africa. We strive for a united voice, people, and Africa.
Being a part of this network allows individuals and organizations to have a voice in the African Union ECOSOCC Assembly, contributing to the building of the African Continent.
The network provides opportunities for individuals and organizations to collaborate with each other and with governments to build sustainable partnerships between the African Continent and the African Diaspora.
By mobilizing, galvanizing, and organizing the African Diaspora, this network provides a platform for empowerment and growth.
The network includes both non-profits and for-profits, providing opportunities for business development and growth.
Through this network, individuals and organizations can work towards promoting social justice and equality for people of African descent.
The network provides access to resources and support that can help individuals and organizations achieve their goals and objectives.
Joining the African Unity Sixth Region Canada Foundation allows you to be part of an official African Diaspora Initiative Network. You’ll have the chance to participate in strategic programming, elect Canadian representatives for the African Union ECOSOCC Assembly, and build sustainable partnerships between the African Continent and the African Diaspora.
